Day Trips:Lily Festival and Grand Rapids, Ohio

Hi~What a busy summer, Autumn is here and Christmas is soon to follow.

With adding another site to my business this summer, http://emhgems.com/ my husband and I have found time to take a few day trips!

One of our summer day trips took us to a Lily Festival south of Lancaster, Ohio.

Below you will find some pictures of that trip.

This was a "HOT" one, but what an enjoyable day!

There were many crafters with their crafts and lots of food. Of course, there were lots of flowers and many lilies to buy, which I did. As soon as I got home I added them to my lily garden. I am planning on taking lots of pictures next year and show them off.

Another one of our day trips took us to Grand Rapids, Ohio where we happened upon their 175th birthday party!

The first picture is the sign outside the firehouse announcing the 175th birthday of that city.

The second picture is of one of the beautiful and delicious cakes they served.

The next, some folks from Grand Rapids.

The firehouse and the last pictures is of their Town Hall, they have done a lot of work to this beautiful building.

A NEW BLOG SITE

Where to begin? The picture above is of Shelby and Topper looking out the office window. It was taken this spring. You can see our crab apple tree in the background, it was beautiful this year.

They are a lot company for me. Shelby and Topper likes to help me with my business. There are pictures of them on my business sites. The babies will be two years old this late summer and early fall. They can be so funny!

I have been very busy the last several months getting my business up and going. Scary and exciting at the same time! There is so much to learn~ TONS ~. I'm getting there.

With my husband and I moving so many times, I decided to start this business because I can take it to wherever we are. Also, a business like this gives me a lot of freedom with my time and the products that I want to share with you!
